Takehiro Tomiyasu is Unhappy with Losing his Spot to Ben White but is Determined to Comeback

Just recently, Takehiro Tomiyasu shared his concern over his performance and play at Arsenal. He revealed that he is unhappy and unsatisfied at the club as he is not part of the team for the running season.

Takehiro Tomiyasu is Not First Choice

The latest developments at Arsenal where Takehiro Tomiyasu lost his position as the right back to Benjamin (Ben) White was a huge upset for the player.

In a recently conducted interview, the 23-year-old right back from Japan revealed that he is unsatisfied with his role at the club.

He is not happy at all because he has lost his position to Ben White, who is now playing for the club as the first squad member.

Takehiro Tomiyasu is Now Determined

Tomiyasu has claimed that he is angry and upset with the latest developments about his role at the club. However, the player has vowed that he is not going to lose his cool and work hard.

The player has promised his fans that he will be working very hard as well as training a lot to improve his skills. He is going to direct his anger towards training and regain his spot as the right back for the team.

Tomiyasu is now determined to earn back his spot as the first team player.

Tomiyasu’s Move from Bologna to Arsenal

In 2021, Tomiyasu joined Arsenal as he moved from Bologna, a club from Seria A. At Bologna, the player had made 61 appearances and scored 3 times for the club.

Having moved to Arsenal as the first squad player making 27 appearances.

A Calf Injury Hurt the Player

Although the player played a chunk of the past season, he ended up being injured. It was later established that the player had caught a calf injury. As a result, the player ended up facing a calf injury.

As a result of the injury from the past season, the player has continued paying dearly even in the running season. As the player was out of multiple matches and lost his fitness, he was ruled out of the first squad.

Arsenal Player Decks a Shuffling

In the past season, Arsenal ended up securing.  fourth spot. After the ‘not so good’ performance of the club, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal started shuffling the players.

Turns out, Ben White has outperformed Takehiro Tomiyasu and is now the first squad player for the club.

Benjamin White is a 24-year-old centre-back from England. The player started his career at Brighton & Hove Albion in 2016.

The player joined Arsenal back in 2021 and so far, the player has appeared in 39 matches for the club.
