Arsenal’s Loss May Change The Situation In The Premier League

This season, when all was going well at first, it seemed like almost everything was going wrong that one night. Nevertheless, there was cause to think that the loss had changed into a defeat, one that was as complete as their annihilation in Eindhoven. The last time Arteta spoke negatively about his team or himself was on the day in May when Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Champions League were dashed in Newcastle.

Five months later, Arteta claimed that despite the Europa League group-stage loss not having the same effect. The fact that he won 14 of the matches in a row says a lot about how far he’s come. He had at least just completed a stellar performance before his most recent loss.

The cause of lost match

Lots of frustrating emotions may be expressed in relation to losing to your rival, and the emotions are often the typical causes of failure. However, it might start to emerge at Arsenal. Arteta noted that Arsenal were excellent and raised expectations in Tyneside and Holland. The loss was much less significant this time. But yet, they suddenly found themselves lacking the ability to compete with their rival.

Arsenal has lost some of its energy. Gabriel Jesus declared that he was prepared, and Arteta suggested that Saka play 70 games this season, but the Spaniard will bench both players in Holland. It was a recognition of their overwork. 13 players played more than 200 minutes in the last match, and substitutions were rarely used. Of the 990 minutes played in the big leagues, four players played more than 988 minutes, and three others played more than 944 minutes.

The coach wrong attitude

Last season, Arsenal’s lack of toughness proved to be their undoing; although summer matches altered the team and gave them an illusion, the issue will likely always persist under Arteta. He may appear to be depleting his team and lowering the status of others. He also drives out players who are on the sidelines and further narrows the pool of available options because he is the type of manager who only has a small core of people in whom he has confidence.

The situation was made worse by the decline in quality between the top players and the rest, particularly at central midfielder and striker, where players like Thomas Partey, and Haka have grown in significance. It has gotten harder to give Saka and Gabriel Martinelli a break due to Emile Smith-Rowe’s injury and Arsenal’s unsuccessful attempts to sign other wingers in the summer.
